"Mais couronne de lauriers à l’époustouflant ou plutôt au suprême parmi tous : le spectaculaire Polonais Adam Kaldunski gravé éternellement en mémoire par son interprétation d’une Étude no.3 en si mineur du compositeur et pianiste québécois Marc-André Hamelin."

"Mr. Adam Kałduński’s program included three Paderewski, the Menuet and Nocturne were elegant and well-paced. (...) in the Nocturne, harmonic colours were beautifully executed. But nuance and lyricism were not everything: the virtuoso passages of Chopin’s Ballade Op. 38 had agitation and drama, with powerful execution. Kałduński has a wonderful range of colour and nuance in his conceptions of each work."

"Quite unexpectedly the Op.53 so-called 'Heroic' Polonaise was one of the best I have heard for a very long time - packed full of raw defiance, anger and brimming with that curious Polish emotion known as żal that occurs so often in Chopin, in fact the composer seems almost addicted to it. Such an exciting performance, majestic and aristocratic with a type of direct volatility, slightly out of civilized control. Exactly as it should be..."

"Adam Kałduński played with extraordinary self-assurance and flexibility. He suppressed the volume of the Etude in B minor, Op. 25 No. 10 for a long time, while relentlessly building up the tension. This made the forte of the reprise positively ear-splitting. Nor did he try to squeeze too much out of the Ballade in F minor, Op. 52. He was unhurried and kept anear out for the lyrical passages, although he allowed himself some drama and amusement."

"I first encountered Adam Kałduński's playing in 2019 during the 74th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój. In his semi-recital, the artist revealed himself as an excellent interpreter of Ignacy Jan Paderewski's works. Listening to the Minuet in G major or the Nocturne in B flat major, I was astonished, and a few hours after the recital ended, it dawned on me that only the composer himself played these pieces in a more perfect way. At this concert, Kałduński also presented, among others, Fryderyk Chopin's Sonata in B flat minor, Op. 35, surprising the listeners with a lyrical and at the same time intellectual approach to musical matter. A few months later, playing in the final of the National Chopin Competition, the artist created an equally lyrical, and most importantly – avoiding unnecessary virtuosity concept of the Concerto in E minor, Op. 11. A deliberate lack of virtuosity also accompanied the Duszniki interpretation (2020 edition) of the complete Etudes Op. 25, which, considering the pianist's young age, could have surprised many a listener. Without a doubt, the greatest advantages of Adam Kałduński's interpretation include the aforementioned intellectual, noble approach to the pieces performed, as well as the melodious sound of this young Polish musician. I secretly hope that in the 18th Chopin Competition the artist will decide to publicly present the complete Etudes Op. 25, which he coped with so well in Duszniki."

"Adam Kałduński is a clearly lyrical and analytical pianist. He delicately sips the time of his playing, chooses the means rationally, takes care of the certainty of solutions, and is also a melancholic who often looks beyond the notes. Yesterday he captivated us above all with elegant Paderewski (in the Nocturne in B flat major and Sarabande in B minor he charmed us with a capricious but veiled melodic line and warm harmonies), then with the nostalgic Nocturne in B major op. 62 and Chopin's Sonata in B flat minor, when in the first movement he brilliantly brightened the drama with strong caesuras and lyrical charge.
